I was the CG Director, supervising a team of 5 artists. In addition to supervising I handled all the TD and pipeline work, tyFlow sims, lighting, and rendering (save for the amazing final shot which was handled completely by Pinoy Reyes). 

All camerawork was filmed using a real physical VR rig directly in 3dsmax using Vcat from https://www.marui-plugin.com/vcat/ amazing plugin that is at the core of our production camera process

The reception on release was more than we could have hoped for, with 5 million views as of writing, and has been featured in every major UK newspaper and beyond.

"Klaus Mouse" Illustrations for a Singapore Hospital Seminar 

Acted as technical and visual consultant for the Virtual Reality for Disaster Recovery project by Professor Brian McAdoo of Yale NUS University in Singapore. Project uses drones to scan vulnerable areas to be presented in VR/AR. In addition to consultancy also produced several mockups using the raw data for aid in pitching to VCs, various boards and panels, and guiding our development team.

VR4DR (Virtual Reality for Disaster Resilience) is an immersive storytelling platform that informs investments aimed at sustaining environment, health and well-being, economy and culture in communities exposed to disaster risk. VR4DR uses drone technology to create 3D models of communities to a variety of natural hazards and integrates 360-degree video interviews with key stakeholders in order to better assess the physical, economic and cultural landscape.

When viewed in our interactive gaming environment, the 3D model highlights the physicality of the area in question- For example, How might a community best plan an evacuation route from a low-lying slum in a tsunami inundation zone? Or, What is the spatial relation between irrigated fields and the springs feeding them that are in decline because of reduced snowmelt? The integrated 360-video not only provides additional information related to the overall landscape, but also gives the people exposed to the risk an opportunity to describe their communities’ priorities in the context of their home.

The final interactive, web-based VR space will allow experts and investors to crowdsource solutions to reduce overall risk and help preserve invaluable cultural heritages. VR4DR offers a dynamic, unprecedented view of complex environments that will ultimately impact the ability of communities to withstand increasingly deadly and expensive disasters.
